MY Story
Where do I start? I graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1988. Go Vikings! Afterwards, I attended Clarion University and graduated in 1993 with teaching degree in Secondary Education Social Studies. My teaching career began in the fall of 1993 as a special education teacher at Wesley Highland School. During this time, I earned my Master's Degree in Special Education at California University of Pennsylvania (1999.) I was hired in 2000 at Career Connections High School in Lawrenceville as a resource/career education teacher. My big break came in the summer of 2001 when I was hired as a special education teacher at Elizabeth Forward High School. I joined the social studies department in 2003 when I began teaching United States history. In 2010, I began teaching teaching Advanced Placement United States history and I haven't looked back since.
My family includes my wife Dara and children Katie and Anna. My hobbies include discussing politics, sports, fantasy sports, music, science fiction & action movies, preparing my lessons at the local library and of course everything and anything related to American history. |
